Unfortunately, washing and drying facilities are not yet available on the camping. These will be added after the renovation works of the main building are completed. In the meantime, you can visit Wasbar, where you can wash your clothes while enjoying food and drinks, or Wassalon De Bodt, which is the closest traditional laundromat to the camping.
Currently the wifi is only accessible at the bar. The wifi network is Urban Gardens – Guest and is without password. We plan to cover all pitches with wifi during our renovation works.
Yes, you can rent a bike at the reception for 14 EUR/24h. There are also bikes available equipped with a child seat. Electric bikes are not available, but the road to the city center is flat. You will make it, trust us.
When you stay at the campground, you have free access to the lake. You can pick up your access card at the reception desk. The lake is only a 5-minute walk away. The lake is only open to the public from May 1 to August 31.
For reservations of less than 300 euros, the full amount must be paid at the time of booking. For reservations over 300 euros, 50% must be paid directly at the time of booking, and the remaining 50% must be paid one week before the scheduled arrival date. Your reservation will be considered confirmed once full payment or 50% deposit is received. Failure to make the required payments by the specified deadlines may result in cancellation of the reservation.
You can cancel free of charge up to 7 days before arrival. Between 7 days and 72 hours before arrival we will charge 50% of the total amount. Within 72 hours of arrival or no-show, we will charge 100% of the outstanding balance. We do not require proof of cancellation, but strictly adhere to these conditions. We do not offer cancellation insurance, but you can purchase your own from an insurer of your choice.

Dogs are permitted on the premises with the prior consent of the operator and at an additional cost. The cost depends on the reservation and the type of accommodation booked. Bringing a dog must always be reported at check-in. If a dog is brought without prior notification, additional costs will be charged. Animals may not be left unattended in accommodation or vehicles. Dogs and cats must be kept on a leash at all times; the leash may be no longer than 2 metres. The owner is obliged to clean up after their pet immediately and at all times. Dogs are not allowed on playgrounds, sports fields and other recreational facilities, not even for walking. Dangerous animals are not allowed on the premises. The following breeds of dogs are not permitted: Akita Inu, American Staffordshire Terrier, Band Dog, Bull Terrier, Dogo Argentino, Dogue de Bordeaux, English Terrier (Staffordshire Bull Terrier), Fila Brasileiro, Mastiff (all origins), Pit Bull Terrier, Rhodesian Ridgeback, Rottweiler and Tosa Inu. Dogs that cause nuisance (such as excessive barking, aggressive behaviour or repeated failure to comply with the house rules) may be permanently denied access to the grounds after three written warnings.

Yes, it is possible to check out later, depending on availability. This can be requested at check-in. For campers, there is an 8 euro surcharge and for accommodations a 30 euro surcharge, with a check-out time until 6 p.m.

For accommodations, one parking space per accommodation is available, although not directly adjacent to the accommodation. Additional cars can be parked for free off-site or at a rate of 6 euros per day on-site.

Definitely! Upon check-in, you will receive a breakfast order form. You can fill out this form a day in advance. The next day you can pick up your breakfast at the front desk or in the bar, depending on the season.
For late arrivals, we will make sure you receive all the necessary information for a comfortable stay. You will receive this information by e-mail. An envelope with your name is posted at the entrance, which contains a map of the campground and additional information. So you don’t have to worry and can arrive at your leisure!
No, you don’t have to worry about the LEZ zone. Our campground is outside this area, so you don’t have to cross the zone to get to us. This means you can safely leave your car on our property during your stay. However, if you do plan to go into town by car, you can check in advance if this is possible at: LEZ checklink.
Absolutely! The campground is conveniently located. To reach the city center, bus 11 leaves every 15 minutes from Camping Avenue toward Korenmarkt. This service is available from 5 a.m. to midnight, and even until 1 a.m. on Fridays. The bus stop is only a 4-minute walk away, so within 15 minutes you are already in the heart of Ghent!
