We walked to the Menin Gate by day and relaxed on our terrace in the evening. The lodge was spacious, spotless and had everything we needed.
After a day cycling round the Westhoek, it was lovely to come back here. Hot showers, a warm welcome and the town right on the doorstep.
We parked up the motorhome and did everything on foot, including the Last Post. You couldn't ask for a better base in Ypres.
